Slowly (quickly in the case of Provo) small town America is disappearing. During the nearly 2 years that I have lived here almost half of Downtown Provo has been destroyed to put up fancy convention centers and other crap, and everybody just goes on with their lives like it was never there. But you know what? It's rather depressing to go downtown and walk past gaping holes that used to be somebody's former business; somebody's life, just to be replaced with "beautiful" hunks of steel and glass.
